$510 for a complete twitter account… some people are leaving, or in this case starting over, because it’s too distracting, they don’t get it, or weren’t using it right. Other people are spending a chunk of change on an audience “that doesn’t want to be sold to”. I don’t think I’m the only one who still doesn’t get it if no one else can...

Taken together with Blodget’s comment, I see this as another indication that we have come to expect information to be free as it is not something we can put our hands on. However for this reason, I remain convinced that startups with a tangible product should be examined more closely, as they will likely fair better in the impending “free shake out”.
